Fetal Cardiology Program Support Group
Family Support with Heart
Having a baby diagnosed with a prenatal heart defect can be a life-changing event for you and your family. The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Sibley Heart Center Cardiology Fetal Cardiology program, in conjunction with the Children’s Sibley Heart Center, offers a support group to help you cope and prepare for the birth of your child.
You are offered support, education and preparation through activities, such as group discussions and parent presentations. In this welcoming setting moderated by cardiac professionals, personal struggles, practical suggestions and everyday triumphs find their voice.
If your child is diagnosed with a prenatal heart defect, you are eligible to participate in the Fetal Cardiology program support group for up to six months after your child’s birth.
The Fetal Cardiology support group will meet at the Children’s at Egleston conference center, First Floor, Tower One. Directions and a map are available here.
Light refreshments and free parking will be available.
The meetings are from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the third Tuesday of every month.
