Pediatric Transplant Volumes and Outcomes
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is home to one of the leading transplant programs in the United States offering services for liver, heart and kidney transplant patients. From 2000 to 2008, Children’s has ranked among the top 10 pediatric transplant programs for solid organ transplant volumes.
In 2008, our teams performed 117 pediatric transplants:
- 24 pediatric liver transplants
- 10 pediatric heart transplants
- 25 pediatric kidney transplants
- 58 pediatric blood and marrow transplants
