1. I have forgotten my password, what do I do?  
Once on the Login page, click the Forgot your password? link. Follow the instructions to retrieve your password.

2. I forgot my user name, what do I do?  
After you get to the Login page, click the Forgot your user name? link. Follow the instructions to retrieve your user name. A page will ask you to verify your e-mail address.

Enter the e-mail address you used when creating your account. Then, follow the instructions to retrieve your user name and create a new password.

3. I want to apply on the Children’s Web site, but it keeps stalling out.   
There are several things that may cause this problem:

  • Your Web browser may not work with the system. Netscape, AOL or Internet Explorer on a MAC will not work.
  • Not all Web browsers work with our system, check your Web browser to ensure you have: Internet Explorer (recommended browser) 7.0 or Firefox 3.0.
  • Your screen’s resolution is lower than 720 pixels.
  • See chart for compatible systems and browsers that can be used with the system

4. I need to change my e-mail address, what do I do?  
Log onto your account to update your e-mail address.

5. What if I do not have an e-mail address?  
Go to yahoo.com, hotmail.com or google.com to set up a free e-mail account.

6. I could not finish the assessment questionaire. What do I do?  
Log onto the portion of the application you need to complete. Go to the Assessment Questionnaire page, and then click the Assessment Questionnaire link.

7. I have completed the assessment questionnaire, why does it still say: Immediate Action Needed—Complete Assessment Questionnaire, as my status?  
The recruitment team has not updated your application status. Allow two to three business days for your status to be updated.

8. I need to finish my assessment questionnaire, but it will not allow me?  
This means the job is no longer posted or accepting applications, or you already completed the assessment questionnaire on another application. If you have already completed the assessment questionnaire, your results will carry over once you click the Assessment Questionnaire link.

9. I do not see a position that works for me, but I would like to submit my resume to you. What should I do?  
In the job search page, click the Can’t Find Your Match link. This will allow you the option to complete an application for the job category that best matches your experience.

10. Do I have to complete an assessment questionnaire for every job?  
There are a total of five different assessment questionnaires based on that type of job. To be sure you have completed the correct assessment questionnaire, always click on the Assessment Questionnaire link. The system will recognize if you have already completed the assessment questionnaire for that type of job.

11. I can not upload my resume, can I submit a paper resume?  
No. All resumes need to be attached to your online application. If you are unable to upload your resume, you will need to copy and paste it into the application.

12. How do I get an update on the status of my application?  
Sign in to your account, and go to My Jobpage to get updates on the status of your application.

13. I see the status of my application, but would like more information. How can I get more information about the status?  
Click the Status, and this will provide you with more details.

14. I started an application, but had to leave my computer and the application closed. What do I do?   
Go to My Jobpage and look for your draft of the application. If the position is still posted, click the Finish/Edit My Application link. If this option is not available, we are no longer accepting applications for this position.

15. When I enter a pay rate, why does it say there is a problem?  
Remove the $. The system does not recognize this symbol.

16. I am finished with the application, where is the Submit button?  
This means the job is no longer posted or accepting applications.

17. If I want to apply for more than one job, do I have to fill out a new application every time?  
Yes. The information you have already entered is saved. You will need to verify the accuracy of the data.
