ACL Injuries

In young athletes, knee injuries involving the ACL—or anterior cruciate ligament—have increased at alarming rates. More than 250,000 ACL injuries occur every year in the United states. This type of injury is three to four times more common in female athletes.

About the Children's Health Minute
