Our clinical neurophysiology departments at Children's at Scottish Rite and Children's at Egleston provide diagnostic electroencephalography (EEG), evoked potential (EP) and other neurophysiologic-based testing.
In addition, EEGs can be performed at select Children's neighborhood locations. The labs are under the direction of the neurology division. ACNS guidelines for clinical neurophysiology are the basis for all procedures.
We provide the following services:
- EEG: routine, sleep, portable and sedated
- Video EEG monitoring, diagnostic and presurgical evaluations
- EPs: visual, auditory and somatosensory
- Multiple sleep latency test
- Intra-operative EP and EEG monitoring
- Electrocorticography
- Nerve conduction and electromyography testing
- Selective dorsal rhizotomy (with neurosurgery)
