Kids at Heart
Georgia Cardiomyopathy Support Group
The Children’s Sibley Heart Center has partnered with the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation to form a local support group for Georgia families who have children with cardiomyopathy. The Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation (CCF) was established in 2002. CCF’s mission is to support research, education and increased awareness and advocacy for those affected by pediatric cardiomyopathy. CCF’s website www.childrenscardiomyopathy.org offers information on the disease, coping and healing tips, research updates, resource links, and a discussion forum. CCF hopes this local support group will offer increased opportunities for parents and children to become more informed about the disease, to meet to discuss issues surrounding cardiomyopathy, and support other families with similar experiences.
If you would like to become involved in this local support group or would like more information, please contact Audrey Callahan at 770-586-5597 or dacallahan_99@yahoo.com.
