The Children's Orthopaedics Program and Children's Sibley Heart Center were ranked No. 5 nationwide. |

U.S.News & World Report also ranks Children's as one of the best hospitals for children in the United States. Children’s has been listed in the magazine’s survey of “America's Best Hospitals” for four straight years.

Best Doctors in America Lists 158 Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Physicians
The 2008 Best Doctors in America list honors 158 Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta physicians. Best Doctors in America is the world’s leading resource for patients, families and physicians seeking expert medical information and guidance to treat illnesses and injuries of all kinds. The physicians honored on this list are among the top 5 percent of doctors in the country.
The Children’s physicians recognized represent more than 30 specialties and have affiliations with Emory University School of Medicine.
Best Doctors is a Web-based resource, www.bestdoctors.com that includes doctors from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
To compile the database, more than 45,000 doctors throughout the United States were asked by Best Doctors, Inc. to rate the clinical abilities of other doctors in their areas of specialization. The company checks all doctors for licensing and certification requirements, plus nonqualifying disciplinary measures.
