For Better or Better is the wedding program benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing health, hope and happiness to children. By making Children’s a part of your special day, you will be setting a new trend in giving. Your wedding day donation will impact children for years to come.
We rely on the generosity of people like you to continue providing the quality care our patients deserve. From broken bones to groundbreaking cancer treatments— we exist to provide every child in Georgia with the medical care they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
Your donation helps the patients of Children’s in real and measurable ways. A donation of $300 can buy 3,000 premature diapers and $500 can send a heart transplant patient to summer camp. However, even a small gift touches the life of a child.
Through For Better or Better, we offer brides 3 unique ways to make a lasting difference in the life of a child:
- Honor your wedding guests or wedding party with the gift of a donation in their name to Children’s. To commemorate your donation, your guests will receive one of the following:
- Elegant personalized favor cards for each guest’s place setting
- A stylish 8x10 donation flyer that can be framed and displayed at your reception
- You can use your wedding day to request donations for Children’s in lieu of, or in addition to, traditional wedding gifts. A perfect alternative for couples who already have it all!
- By visiting the I Do Foundation at www.IdoFoundation.org you can learn how to select Children's as your wedding charity of choice. This option allows guests to purchase bridal gifts online and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
