Executives for Children's Campaign
Volunteer Event Fundraising
*Below you will find information regarding the Executives for Children's Campaign. Traditionally this volunteer group has supported the AT&T Classic golf tournament. However, please note that the PGA Tour's AT&T Classic has been discontinued. The Executives for Children's (E4C) volunteer sales campaign will remain in place supporting other worthy sporting events benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This summer we are excited to be rolling out a new plan for E4C's. E4C's will raise funds for Children's by selling tickets to The Tour Championship at East Lake and sponsorships to a variety of sporting events. All events benefit the precious patients at Children's. We will link a PDF listing the sponsorship packages soon.
Atlanta area business men and women looking for a unique volunteer experience to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta should consider the Executives for Children's (E4C) campaign. E4C's will support Children's by selling sponsorships and ticket packages to a variety of events. Volunteer at your own pace and work toward incentives as an individual or a corporate team.
The combination of events and business networking to improve pediatric healthcare in our community is what makes this campaign extra special. As an Executive for Children's volunteer, you're not asking for a donation, but offering individuals and companies a chance to support Children's Healthcare of Atlanta while having fun and entertaining their clients at Atlanta's premiere charity events. Your time commitment is minimal but your involvement will help innumerable kids being treated at Children's.
History
Executives for Children's was formed in 1988 as Executives for Egleston by Horace Sibley, then chairman of the Board of Egleston Children's Hospital at Emory University, and J.L. Jerden of the Atlanta Classic Foundation. This campaign has generated over $16 million in its 17-year history. Proceeds from the AT&T Classic have been used to fund a number of significant areas at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta including a new hematology/oncology unit, operating room equipment, heart diagnostic equipment, the liver transplantation program, a neurological rehabilitation unit, a child protection program, the Sibley Heart Center, and pediatric brain tumor services.
