Treatments and Technology

Mandibular Distraction
Mandibular distraction is an option that provides relief by opening the airway and improving the child’s ability to eat.

Nasal Alveolar Molding (NAM)
Prior to surgery to repair a cleft lip, some patients will require orthodontic treatment in order to guide the growth of the mouth in the right direction, eventually aiding in the correction process.

Laser Treatment of Hemangiomas
While some involution can be expected, hemangiomas often require treatment for functional and aesthetic problems.

Bone Substitutes (Hydroxyapatite Cement)
Bone substitutes may prevent the need for harvesting bone grafts from the patient’s own body.
