At the Children's Sibley Heart Center, we specialize in caring for children who have congenital heart defects, and for those patients who develop heart defects later in their childhood or teen years—also known as acquired heart disease. At our children’s heart center, dedicated pediatric cardiologists, cardiac intensivists, pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric heart surgeons and staff work together to heal thousands of children with heart problems each year.
One of the Best Pediatric Cardiac Programs in the Nation
The Children’s Sibley Heart Center is ranked as one of Parents magazine’s top five pediatric cardiac programs in the United States. Thanks to innovative medical breakthroughs in pediatric cardiac care and our expert staff, we give children with heart problems the chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our children's hospital equipment is child-sized and children with heart problems receive specialized care in a place designed just for them. In addition, we provide patient-focused cardiac education programs and support services for the whole family. We believe that caring for a child with a heart defect means caring for not only the disease, but also the whole child and supporting the family.
