Star 94 Cares for Kids Radiothon for Children's
About this Atlanta Charity Event
Thank you, Atlanta! The amazing stories of how Children’s made a difference in the lives of patients and their families inspired many of you. Thousands of Star 94 listeners called into the phone bank sharing their own stories and desire to make a difference despite a financially difficult year—and donated more than $558,125 to Children’s in 2009.
Highlights from the 2009 Radiothon included live interviews with patients, families and staff members from Children's. One of the most memorable moments was a gift from a patient family who lost their daughter to cancer and donated $25,000 in her memory. During the past seven years, the Star 94 Cares for Kids Radiothon has raised more than $7.3 million for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta!
