About this Atlanta Charity Sports Event
The HBCU All-Star Bowl is America’s only post season bowl game for HBCU Schools. Each year nearly 42 HBCU Schools support the HBCU All-Star Bowl and fans, coaches, student athletes and family members, have supported their favorite senior over the past two years. With a proposed economic impact over$4M annually to the city of Atlanta, simply put, the HBCU All-Star Bowl and ancillary events will provide the foremost multicultural sports marketing opportunity in Southeastern United States.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will support the Sickle Cell Disease Clinic at Children’s at Hughes Spalding. Atlanta has the largest sickle cell disease population in the United States, many of whom are treated at Children’s at Hughes Spalding. More than 30 Children’s patients have been cured of sickle cell disease through bone marrow transplants (BMT). Learn more about Sickle Cell Disease.
