Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluates patients with congenital impairments (i.e. fingers joined together) or impairments of the upper extremity due to trauma (i.e. car accident).
- Fabricates splints if necessary, provides an applicable home program of exercises, and teaches the family and patient about complimentary treatments.
