  • Where are you located?
    We are located in the Medical Office Building on the Children's at Scottish Rite campus.
  • Will my visit be covered by insurance?
    Neuropsychological testing is covered by most insurance companies for our department if the child has already been given a neurological medical disorder. If your child is being seen for a diagnosis that will be considered mental health/behavioral by your insurance company, you will be considered self pay as our doctors are only signed on to the medical side of all insurance plans.
  • How much will I have to pay?
    Each insurance plan is different, however, we bill as outpatient hospital services through Scottish Rite. We do not file office visits. We file outpatient testing services only. This typically means that you will need to pay your deductible and coinsurance for hospital outpatient services.
  • Do I need a referral?
    You do not need a referral, however, we do ask that you get an order or prescription requesting neuropsychological testing along with the medical diagnosis from an M.D.
  • Can you help me find a mental health/behavioral provider on my plan where my visit will be covered?
    We are more than happy to assist you in your search for a covered provider on your plan. Simply provide us with your list of pediatric psychology or neuropsychology providers and we will have our doctors pick someone they know from the list.
