In collaboration with Emory University School of Medicine, the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta diabetes team participates in national clinical trials and collaborative studies sponsored by the Immune Tolerance Network (ITN). ITN is an international not-for-profit consortium of physicians, scientists, government officials and research staff who are dedicated to finding new, safer treatments for diseases and conditions affecting the immune system, including type 1 diabetes.
With more than 400 newly diagnosed children with type 1 diabetes annually, we are pleased to offer the following cutting-edge clinical trials:
