Upcoming Multidisciplinary Webinars
Summer Bullying Series Part 2: Developing Effective Interventions to Prevent Bullying in Schools
- Tuesday, June 25
- Register today.
-
The complex nature of bullying demands interventions that are more multifaceted than a simple “anti-bullying” sign posted in the hallways or assigning bullies to an alternative school. This webinar examines the act of bullying and details how schools can more effectively prevent and address bullying in a public school setting.
Participants will be able to:
1) Identify interventions that address the different roles of bullying.
2) Integrate multiple interventions within a traditional School-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports tiered setting.
Psychosocial Impacts of Child Maltreatment: Is Trauma-Informed Treatment Always Indicated
- Thursday, July 11
- Register today.
-
This webinar will teach how to distinguish between children who experience trauma symptoms and those who do not. In making this distinction, participants will learn how to identify types of maltreatment and the possible psychosocial impacts of each type of maltreatment. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will successfully be able to recognize when trauma-informed treatment is indicated, and what treatment options are available for children and families.
