The Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center is one of the largest pediatric cancer and blood disorders centers in the country. Because of our size, we are able to dedicate teams of healthcare professionals to each of the major types of childhood blood disorders. This specialization means that your child is cared for by a team that is solely focused on his disease.
These teams include pediatric doctors, nurses and family support team members. The family support team consists of child life specialists, social workers, chaplains, teachers, psychologists and financial coordinators.
