Carolyn Kenny is Chief Operating Officer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In this role, she oversees clinical operations for the pediatric healthcare system. Recognized for her community involvement and professional success, Kenny formerly served as president of Kaiser Permanente of Georgia, where she and the company led the market in service and quality.
Kenny is active in her community and has served on several boards, including Georgia Association for Health Plans, Georgia State University Institute for Health Administration Advisory Board, Woodruff Arts Center Young Audiences of Atlanta Board and Georgia Conservancy.
Kenny has a bachelor of science from the University of California Irvine and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Michigan. She also is a graduate of the Stanford Executive program.
Kenny lives in Brookhaven with her husband, Craig Smith, Ph.D.
